Learn how to pair, set up live view, capture footage, and manage your AROSCAI Wi-Fi Video Door Phone — your 2MP HD smart doorbell with 170° wide-angle lens.

This tutorial is a guide to operating your AROSCAI smart devices and initiating app control through the AROSCAI SMART app.

Pairing Your Doorbell

Connect the video door phone to the AROSCAI Smart app via QR scan

Device Pairing

Reset the Smart Video Doorbell by pressing and holding the reset button until the indicator light blinks red.

Wait for the red indicator to blink steadily — this confirms the device is in pairing mode.

Open the AROSCAI Smart app on your smartphone.

Tap "Add Device" and select "Video Door Bell" from the device type list.

Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password (2.4 GHz network required).

The app will display a QR code. Hold the QR code in front of the doorbell camera to scan it.

Once the doorbell scans the QR code successfully, tap "I Heard a Prompt" in the app when you hear the confirmation audio.

Select the Room you want to assign the doorbell to.

Tap "Confirm" to complete pairing. The indicator light will turn solid to confirm connection.

View Live Video Feed

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap on "Video Door Bell" in your device list.

The live video feed from the doorbell camera will load immediately.

Pinch to zoom or rotate your phone to full-screen for a wider view.

Tap on "Video Door Bell" to open the live feed.

Tap the screenshot icon on the video control bar.

The captured image is saved to your phone's gallery.

Record Video

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap on "Video Door Bell" to open the live feed.

Tap "Start Recording" on the video control bar.

Tap "Stop Recording" when done. The video is saved to your phone.

For extended or continuous recording, ensure an SD card is installed in the doorbell and configured via Settings.

Device Settings

Rename, manage storage, share access, and unbind the device

Rename Device

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap "Video Door Bell" → Options (⋮) → "Setting".

Tap "Rename Device".

Enter the new name and tap "Save".

SD Card Storage & Playback

Insert a compatible microSD card into the doorbell (up to 128 GB recommended).

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap "Video Door Bell" → Options (⋮) → "Setting".

Tap "SD Card Store / Playback".

Browse recorded footage by date and time and tap any clip to play it back.

Format the SD card via the app before first use to ensure compatibility.

Share Device Access

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap "Video Door Bell" → Options (⋮) → "Setting".

Tap "Sharing Access".

Enter the registered email address of the person to share with.

Tap "Share" to grant them access.

The recipient must have a registered AROSCAI Smart account to receive shared access.

Remove / Unbind Device

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap "Video Door Bell" → Options (⋮) → "Setting".

Tap "Remove / Unbind Device".

Confirm the action to unlink the doorbell from your account.

After unbinding, the doorbell resets to factory state and can be re-paired to any account.

View Device ID

Open the AROSCAI Smart app.

Tap "Video Door Bell" → Options (⋮) → "Setting".

Scroll to the bottom of the settings list — the Device ID is shown as the last entry.
